$21.00 / hour

 

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be 18+ years of age and have open availability with shift start time of 6 am. 

 

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll help create and maintain a flawless landscaping environment for our guests.

 

You’ll also…

  • Maintain the Park’s grass areas through line trimming, backpack blowing, sod repairs and lawn mowing.
  • Assist as needed in other areas within the department including planting, weeding, cultivating, edging, mulching, irrigating, pruning, site cleanup and site washdown/waste recovery.

Qualifications

  • You!
  • Previous experience or knowledge in the operation of various types of commercial turf equipment example (Line trimmer, back pack blower, push mower, in a commercial, municipal or golf course setting will be an asset
  • Previous experience or knowledge of hand tools is an asset
  • Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract
  • Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear
  • Candidates that are able to meet the physical requirements of the job including bending, lifting, utilizing hand tools and working in various weather conditions (must be able to lift, pull and push 20kg)
  • People that are able to work cooperative and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Candidates that have a reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit
  • Availability to work 6:00am to 2:30pm during the spring and fall, 6:00am to 3:30pm during the full-time operating season (Friday shifts are 6:00am—10:00am) and occasional weekends
